MISSOURI

Hey All! We are still in Saint Louis Missouri. It has been real hot here these last couple of days. I don't know how nick stands the heat. He is such an amazing salesman! I have been thinking and this is what I have come up with. Nick is so driven to do the best he can... all of the time. He works to the last minute and beyond all of the time. Why? How? I decided it is a man thing (for him anyway). Just like the woman is more likely to be more caring and compassionate, is a man genetically driven to work long and hard even if he misses his family just so he can make sure they are provided for? Anyway- I have loved Missouri. I have made many friends with families in the ward. One in particular. There is this family who has the apx group over to eat twice already and have been so nice to us all. I have a season pass to six flags and when the Davis's go they invite me. I ride all of the "scary" rides with their son Blaine- he is 10 years old. He has called me a couple of times. I joke with Nick and tell him I got called for a date. The Davis's have taken me out for ice cream, given my mom and I an awesome tour of the budweiser plant where Gary works, given Nick and I crazy amazing tickets to a cardinals game, and let me be part of their family. All of the ward has been nice to give us info about the city.
I went to the six flags water park by myself yesterday. It was way fun even though I was alone. I went on most of the slides and asked two other girls if I would ride on a tube with them for this ride that requires more than one person. It was so hot- the water felt real good.
My mom came and visited us here in Missouri. We were running all day to fit all that we could into one whole week. It was so much fun hiking biking trails, picking peaches at a peach farm, going to Nauvoo and doing many more things. I am so thankful for my mom.

So we are now here in Wildwood Missouri! It is so pretty. There has been lots of rain and it is so green! I love the firedflys. They are my favorite bug. Nick is doing well here. He is still a manager and works hard every day. I just finished school! YAY! Huge relief. My mom is coming to visit- we have only one week to do all that Saint Louis has to offer. I love it here. I would never live here for good but it is an awesome place to spend the summer.

For our anniversary this year we decided to go to VEGAS! Yay! We are going to go to the Phantom of the Opera. I am way excited. 4 years have gone by way too fast. Nick is still selling alarms for APX He does amazing at his job. I still have one semester at school and am so excited to finish. Merry Christmas everyone.

Hey yall! Yep we already went to a halloween party. Nick was a whoopie cushion- the perfect outfit for him. I dressed up in one of my grandmas old dresses and was a 60's- 70's girl. We are both in school still. I am a little over halfway through my program and I love working with patients. Nick is going to graduate this year. We have no clue where we will end up this summer but I know wherever it is- I will love it and will try to see all of the sites!

Minneapolis!

This summer has gone waaay to fast, but lots has happened. My Friend Heidi found 5k and half marathon races called the Gopher Badger races. I ran the 5k and got 3rd in my age group! My time was 22 minutes. Heidi did way good too running the half marathon. My sister came and visit me and we did lots of fun things- Mall of America, zoo, the beach, hot tubbing, and we made chocolates. Nick is doing really good being a manager and a salesman. I am proud of how hard he works! I am so thankful for all of my friends out here. We have had a lot of fun. I am ready to come home and pick raspberries with my mother-in-law!

Wow the year has gone by so fast! It is the summer and we are selling in Minnesota this year. I was way lucky to have my mom traveling with me to Minneapolis- She is amazing and I learn so much from her. We had so much fun going through national parks, traveling through caves, and seeing Mount Rushmore. It looks a lot like New York here but the people are way less scary and laid back! I have parks and lakes just blocks away and the Mall of America is just 15 miles away- watch out! Nick is selling very well even though managing is way stressful. I just got out of 8 or 9 crazy stressful months of Dental Hygiene school so I am ready for a play break- which is exactly what I am doing.

Nick and I are in Long Island New York working for Apx Alarm. I love it here! I have been around to most of the sites- The Statue of Liberty, a Broadway play, Central Park, lighthouses, mansions, and beaches- I even went to Good Morning America with some friends and was on National t.v.!
Nick is working really hard and is doing a great job as a first time manager. Nick and I run together in the morning. We are both getting into good shape. Nick is usually gone from either 8:30, 9, or 10:30 am depending on the day until about 10-10:30 at night.
I have a lot of time to sew, go to the pool or the beach, and just do whatever I want. I was able to scrapbook two family reunions already this summer and am working on a quilt. I love the down time but am way excited to start my Dental Hygiene program in the fall- which starts way soon.
