Hey All! We are still in Saint Louis Missouri. It has been real hot here these last couple of days. I don't know how nick stands the heat. He is such an amazing salesman! I have been thinking and this is what I have come up with. Nick is so driven to do the best he can... all of the time. He works to the last minute and beyond all of the time. Why? How? I decided it is a man thing (for him anyway). Just like the woman is more likely to be more caring and compassionate, is a man genetically driven to work long and hard even if he misses his family just so he can make sure they are provided for? Anyway- I have loved Missouri. I have made many friends with families in the ward. One in particular. There is this family who has the apx group over to eat twice already and have been so nice to us all. I have a season pass to six flags and when the Davis's go they invite me. I ride all of the "scary" rides with their son Blaine- he is 10 years old. He has called me a couple of times. I joke with Nick and tell him I got called for a date. The Davis's have taken me out for ice cream, given my mom and I an awesome tour of the budweiser plant where Gary works, given Nick and I crazy amazing tickets to a cardinals game, and let me be part of their family. All of the ward has been nice to give us info about the city.
I went to the six flags water park by myself yesterday. It was way fun even though I was alone. I went on most of the slides and asked two other girls if I would ride on a tube with them for this ride that requires more than one person. It was so hot- the water felt real good.
My mom came and visited us here in Missouri. We were running all day to fit all that we could into one whole week. It was so much fun hiking biking trails, picking peaches at a peach farm, going to Nauvoo and doing many more things. I am so thankful for my mom.
